Survivor Statement
I am a survivor of domestic violence.
For years, I lived behind the polished curtain of perfection—a devoted military spouse, a licensed educator, and a mother doing everything I could to hold it all together. Behind that image was a different reality: one marked by emotional, financial, and psychological control.
I fought to protect my children, preserve my career, and survive in silence.
But silence is not peace.
I broke that silence to reclaim my story—and I will not be intimidated back into the shadows.
What I share here is not gossip.
It is not vengeance.
It is truth.
And I will not apologize.
This is my season.
